Pax Day 2 With Tazti Speech Recognition

Another great day in the booth as hundreds of people stopped by to find out about tazti 2.0 Speech Recognition Software. Here are a few snapshots of some of our booth associates here at PAX.

The crowds have been huge waiting to into the EXPO. People are really nice. If you can come to PAX and you love video games, well it will be like heaven.

We’ve been developing new contest for PC game hackers. We’re hoping to announce it soon, maybe tommorrow….

PAX Video Game Expo - Seattle, WA - Day 1

After weeks of insane hours of work we’re shocked to find ourselves actually in our booth at PAX. About 3000 people have stopped by so far and watched our new video of Joshua Murphy and Colin Gold demonstrating Call Of Duty 2 Modern Warfare, Starcraft 2, and World of Warcraft using tazti to control these games without a keyboard.

Yes, this means that we officially announced tazti 2.0 today, so you now you can go to our tazti downloads page to play with all the new speech recognition features now available.

Koogle, Search and Charles Knight

Our good friend Charles Knight has officially moved his mailbox from altsearchengines.com to thenextweb where he will be blogging about search. Green Slave Girls Are The Best

Some of our readers requested that we publish the actual video of the woman dressed as a green Orion slave girl we saw at Fan Expo 2009 in Toronto. Here it is due to popular demand. Not strictly related to tazti voice recognition, but enjoy anyway! Thanks to BR for telling us that the woman’s name is Katherine Piro - a well known and respected artist in the Toronto area. Obviously Katherine is a big fan of Star Trek!

Google Search Video Gets It Right - Now If Only They Used tazti

I love this video by Google. It has a humanizing soft touch about it. I enjoy the Bing ads also, but while Bing is trying to convince you it’s a better mousetrap, Google is trying to convince you it’s relevant to your life (or you life as you want it to be). Regardless, it a shame they didn’t add tazti voice recognition to one of the videos.

My favorite example of voice recogntion to this day has to be the original Star Trek series. Obviously one part of it was Majel Barrett’s voice. But the thing I liked mose was how they didn’t make a big deal out of it. It seemed so natural and integral to how performed their jobs. I like to think that tazti has some of those same qualities.

As a blog post bonus I’m including a picture of a girl costumed up as an Orion slave girl from the Toronto Fan Expo. I was lucky enough to get her to pose for some video, but I didn’t have presence of mind to get ask her name or for her number.
